Chamber welcomes two new board members

West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce is delighted to welcome two new faces to its board.

Katrina Lewis, client development director with design agency Formm and Alastair Gordon, director at planning and engineering firm Arup, have both joined the Chamber’s board.

Alastair has been involved with the Chamber for several years, serving as both the Chamber’s Transport Group and as vice president of Leeds Chamber of Commerce. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer who has project managed the planning, design and delivery of numerous complicated highway and infrastructure schemes.

Kat is a member of the Chamber’s Leeds Leadership Group and has spoken at a number of Chamber events in recent months. She has extensive expertise in digital transformation, go-to-market strategy, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven track record of scaling organisations through periods of change and disruption.

She said: “I am delighted to be joining the Chamber’s board. I have been involved in the Chamber’s work for some time now and recognise the value it brings to the region’s business community.

“I am looking forward to working with our members and strategic partners to deliver positive outcomes for Yorkshire’s economy.”

Alastair added: “I am very proud to have been appointed to the Chamber’s board. The Chamber’s voice and reach is much valued and respected in our region and I look forward to working with my fellow board members to ensuring our members’ interests are served at all levels.”

James Mason, chief executive of West & North Yorkshire Chamber, said: “Kat and Alastair are two highly respected figures in Yorkshire’s economic landscape, and it is a real boost to the Chamber to welcome them to the board.

“The Chamber exists to serve its members and in Kat and Alastair we have two individuals who will achieve exactly this.”
