WNY Chamber launches new FX service

Chamber International and the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce has today announced a new strategic partnership with Jackson Swiss Partners Trading Limited to provide businesses who export and import with foreign exchange support.

The deal was launched at the Chamber’s head office in Little Germany, Bradford and will see businesses now be able to take advantage of the new currency, including an online platform for trading and holding up to 150 currencies and fixed-term agreements to protect against fluctuations.

Jackson Swiss receives more demand for support relating to trade with China than with any other country.  With the Prime Minister having recently undertaken a high-profile visit to China and seeking to deepen trade ties between the two nations, and with the Chamber preparing to lead a delegation of Yorkshire business leaders to Guangdong and Hong Kong in April, they expect to see an increase in demand for currency-related services.  Jackson Swiss is well-placed to provide face-to-face support from its offices in Halifax.

The Chamber’s Head of International Trade, Nikki Clow, said: “This new partnership with Jackson Swiss comes at just the right time for exporters in our region, helping them protect their sales margins against exchange rate fluctuations.”
