WNY Chamber of Commerce partner with Town

We are delighted to announce that the West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce has joined the Club as an Official Partner.

Covering key economic areas including Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford and York, the West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce champions and supports business growth across the region.

Providing its members with invaluable support, the British Chamber of Commerce Accredited, WNY Chamber offers knowledge and expertise, business opportunities, along with the establishment of a unified business voice that helps to influence decision-makers at all levels for the benefit of the region.

The partnership is already having an impact, with the Club hosting the Chamber’s ‘Meet the Chamber’ event at Accu Stadium in November. The event brought together key business leaders from across the region to discuss ongoing business and economic matters affecting its members.

James Mason, Chief Executive of the West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, commented:

“We are delighted to be partnering with Huddersfield Town as our first major Patron member in a new territory for us as we grow our service offering to Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.

“The partnership has already started in a hugely positive way as the Club joined us on a recent trip to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain which highlighted the Terriers global appeal which matches our ambitions.

“We look forward to many years ahead as we work alongside Paul Reeves and all the commercial team to host joint events, deliver business support to the thousands of fantastic companies in and around the town and jointly grow the economy in this very special part of West Yorkshire.”

Paul Reeves, Chief Revenue Officer at Huddersfield Town, added:

“This strategic partnership with West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce is a very important one to the ongoing development of off-field connections for the football club. We saw first hand out in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain how the Chamber can help to open doors of opportunity as we strengthen the awareness of our proud heritage and present our ambitious plans for the future.

“With the West and North Yorkshire Chamber now able to represent Kirklees businesses, we felt that a Patron membership would amplify what we are also looking to achieve with the business community at a local level and ensure that the region knows that we are open for business in terms of partnership opportunities and also for the Accu stadium as a go to venue for conferencing and events”.
