In response to member feedback over recent years, we wanted to evolve our membership package to provide further flexibility and choice over what services your company wants (and needs). By redesigning our membership scheme, we are now offering the option to select some (or all) of our support services which are deemed essential to your organisation – giving you full control over what you consider to be important. This format offers better value for money and provides further transparency in which services you are acquiring through your chosen membership.

Our objective remains the same, to continue supporting, connecting and representing the business community as we have done for over 150 years. It’s in our best interest to provide flexibility, to help businesses like yours save time, money and stress. We want to help nurture your growth and be pioneers in the way that we offer our support services. We are in fact the very first Chamber to introduce this new membership scheme and hope that through tailored support and enhanced engagement, we can potentially expand our business community to bring further networking opportunities and a greater representation of our region.

All businesses will need to acquire the "Chamber Membership" package before upgrading to include any further benefit bundles, as detailed below. Build the membership that works for you with enhanced flexibility, designed to suit the needs of your business.

These can all be added onto your "Chamber Membership" package, to gain access to further tools and services from the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce. Standard "Chamber Membership" is available for £250+VAT (12-month contract).

Offering further membership benefits, the Support Bundle comes with an upgraded range of tools/services compared to the Core Membership Bundle.

The Promotion Bundle offers a range of marketing tools to help develop and maintain your brand identity across the region. With the ability to publish Member News, Member Offers and utilise various other advertising spaces, this package is perfect for companies who are looking to develop their presence.

For companies who use our Chamber International services on a regular basis, this bundle offers discounted services to aid your training needs. Open up to a world of opportunities, with expert help from our specialist advisors.

EXISTING MEMBERS

If you’re an existing member of the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, you won’t need to take any further action until the point of renewal. Your company will continue to receive all the benefits (as initially purchased) in your twelve-month agreement. In other words, Choice Based Membership won’t take full effect until you come to renew your membership, although there may still be some additional benefits that you can access in the meantime.

Our team have been working hard to decide what a provisional package might look like for your business at the point of renewal. Through analysing historical data and the benefits that you have previously utilised over the past twelve-months, we have provisionally placed each company into a certain bracket, which we feel matches the needs of your business. At the point of renewal, you will be given notice about what this package looks like, to then decide whether you’d like to amend it in any way.

Bundles can be added onto your yearly membership at any point throughout the year, however, they can not be retracted from your membership once you have acquired them – at least not until you come to renew at the end of the twelve months.

You can add bundles at any point during your membership. Cancellations must be made at the point of renewal only, however. You also have the option to adjust your membership package at the point of renewal to add/remove bundles as necessary.

Executive Membership grants you access to further benefits, including those which are listed in each bundle. As an Executive Member, you are also entitled to one-page in our quarterly Yorkshire Business magazine each year. You will also be invited to attend our exclusive Executive Lunch events which are designed to encourage senior level networking opportunities.

Patronage is our premium member subscription, completely unique and bespoke to the needs of your business. Whilst Patrons will acquire access to each of the bundles, they will also receive additional benefits including a 4-page allowance in the quarterly Yorkshire Business magazine, a Patron profile on the website and exclusive invitations to attend some of our events held throughout the year. Each Patron package is tailored, with priority referral to any media or PR opportunities.
