Businesses invited to school careers networking event

Businesses are invited to attend the Primary Careers Conference and Networking Event, designed to help create links and showcase job opportunities in schools. The event will bring together primary school head teachers, education providers, businesses and employers, both local and national. Presentations will be held about why it is important to raise awareness and aspirations for careers which students have no knowledge of. The event will include a networking lunch, which will provide an opportunity to build relations with employers, businesses and educational providers. After the lunch, there will be an opportunity for businesses to sign up and become volunteers for Primary Futures, a leading organisation for connecting primary schools with a range of careers. Professionals are welcome to attend just to network and learn more about working with schools, but where possible, businesses are encouraged to showcase their resources and support. The event will be held at Bradford City Football Club on Friday 29th March, 9:00 – 15:30. You can find out more information and book a place to the event on EventBrite.
