The Chamber meets the Chancellor

As the ‘Voice’ of thousands of businesses across West and North Yorkshire, it was a pleasure to host the Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves at the offices of Schofield Sweeney in Leeds today with representatives from across our membership.

The West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce exists to work alongside the private and public sector and the wide ranging discussions included plans for growth, the budget, issues in the care sector, manufacturing and international trade opportunities, infrastructure, regional connectivity, changes to the planning system and how Yorkshire can be a key catalyst for the wider economy.
