West Yorkshire will receive enhanced levels of devolution

West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce today welcomes the news that West Yorkshire will receive enhanced levels of devolution.
Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove used his keynote speech at the Convention of the North to announce “single pot funding” arrangements for West Yorkshire, as well as Merseyside and South Yorkshire.
Amanda Beresford, chair of West & North Yorkshire chamber, said: “Enhanced devolution is to be welcomed in our region.
“By taking control of greater levels of our finances we can enact more reform for our economy.”
