WNY Chamber to host German Ambassador on visit to UK next week

West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce it will be hosting the German Ambassador to the United Kingdom next week.

Ambassador Miguel Berger is to visit Leeds on Monday September 2 and will be hosted by Leeds Chamber president Chris Black and vice president Aqila Choudhry, as well as a selection of Chamber members.

The visit comes after UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, held talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, with both leaders pledging improved relations between the two countries.

Mr Black said: “The Chamber is delighted to host Ambassador Berger next week.

“As a region we transact globally and, as the world’s third largest economy, we look forward to hearing the ambassador’s views on our region’s economy and any further opportunities for enhanced trade.”
