Executive Membership
Join our Executive Business Network.
All the benefits of Standard Membership, the Executive package aims to enhance senior-level business opportunities across all industry sectors. Improved exposure & exclusive invitations.
The West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce offer an Executive membership package, to further promote and support businesses across our region. With benefits that come only as part of this package, you will obtain increased exposure and exclusive access to specific Chamber events (not included in Standard membership).
This includes invitation to our Executive Lunches, held once per month throughout the year (quarterly for each region); where you can develop new and existing relationships with key stakeholders and representatives from other organisations. You will also be given the opportunity to hear from guest speakers at these events, ranging from various industries.
As an Executive Member, you are also entitled to have one Profile Page in our Yorkshire Business magazine each year too, at no additional cost. This is a great space to advertise your company and tell our network more about what you do.
Further to this, any articles (Press Releases) sent into us from Executive Members, will also be published on the Yorkshire segment of our “Member News” section, in addition to being shared on your local Chamber news feed (Bradford, Leeds or York & North Yorkshire). This provides added exposure, with an improved chance of featuring in our monthly e-shot updates or the regional news section of our magazine.
Take a look at some of the information below, with reasons as to why you might consider joining the Chamber with Executive Membership:
GET INVOLVED IN REGIONAL BUSINESS MATTERS
Local Chambers
The West & North Yorkshire Chamber is proud to be at the heart of Bradford, Leeds, York & North Yorkshire – representing, connecting, and supporting the businesses in each location. The Chamber lobbies on issues which are affecting businesses, liaising with councils and working with agencies in your local area to drive positive change.
Regional Voice
Collectively we are stronger, the West & North Yorkshire Chamber is the largest Chamber influencing policymakers in the region. We host meetings, sit on committees and campaign on issues including transport, development, skills, infrastructure, and the economy as a whole.
National Network
Our economic surveys and input feed into a national business overview to inform Government policy and economic strategy.
Media
As a trusted voice for business, we speak directly to the media and arrange for Executive Members to be first in line for interviews by broadcast media.
Policy Groups
We organise meetings which allow members to come into contact with key policymakers.
Partnerships
We work closely with Local Enterprise Partnerships and local authorities to deliver business support and promote business in the region.
INFLUENCE THE ECONOMIC LANDSCAPE
Local Representation, Regional Influence
Economy
Create greater links within the region’s senior business community and influence policy discussions. We’re involved in all business related economic matters at some level, which means you will have the opportunity to contribute to building a business-friendly economic landscape should you wish to get involved.
Government
The Chamber is often asked to meet Government Ministers, senior civil servants and other key decision makers. Executive Members will be invited to take part in such meetings. In the past, this has involved our Executive Members meeting with the Prime Minister, Chancellor of the Exchequer, Secretaries of State for Business & Transport, Ministers within the Home Office, the Treasury, the Department for Exiting the EU and BEIS.
