Northern Powerhouse rail line
Bradford Council’s ‘advocacy document’ on the case for bringing the Northern Powerhouse rail line through the city.
The Yorkshire Hub and South Bank Leeds
Following the announcement in November 2015 that HS2 services will share a common concourse at an enlarged and redeveloped Leeds station, the Chamber has published its thoughts on how the city can maximise the potential created by this major investment in rail infrastructure.
National Infrastructure Commission
The Government’s strategy body for delivering long-term infrastructure improvements has made a number of recommendations previously lobbied for by West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.
High Speed Rail
Plans are progressing to bring new high-speed rail connectivity to Yorkshire in the form of HS2 (north-south) and HS3 (east-west). The Chamber supports this investment, not just because it will improve journey times but because it will provide much-needed additional capacity to our already overcrowded regional and national rail network.
