Bradford Manufacturing Weeks is set to return this Autumn

The annual event set up to connect young people to a career in manufacturing will return between Monday October 9 and Friday October 20 at schools and colleges across the region.

Prior to this, some of the most prominent and successful figures in Yorkshire manufacturing are set to lend their expertise and wisdom at a free webinar, staged by West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce.

BMW Blast is being held on Wednesday August 30 at noon and will feature industry-leading experts who will discuss their interesting, varied, skilled and highly successful careers.

Panelists include: Mansfield Pollard managing director Louise Frankland, Bradford University’s Professor Ben Whiteside and Solenis site manager David Calder. The event will be hosted by West & North Yorkshire Chamber chief executive James Mason.

Administered by Bradford Chamber of Commerce and the Bradford & Airedale Manufacturing Alliance for the past six years, Bradford Manufacturing Weeks has connected 15,000 students in the region to the manufacturing sector, helping to launch many a career in the sector.
